Ceres Securities Limited is a boutique financial services company based in London, authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The firm was founded in 2013 by the 3 directors/owners who have a combined market experience of over 80 years: Ceres' broking team has extensive experience and perspective gained from working at some of the leading banks on both the supply and demand side of the securities finance business.
The main businesses we engage in are acting as inter-dealer brokers for securities lending, equity and bond financing and electronic brokerage,

CHARLES MCSWIGGAN
Director
Mr McSwiggan has over 40 years of experience in the securities lending and the equity finance market. He was employed in London at Cazenove and Co. Money Brokers for 18 years and Investec Bank for 8 years. At the latter he was Manager of the Equity Finance desk, setting up the International securities lending operation, ADR/GDR lending, Irish securities lending, Swaps and finance desk and managing the largest UK securities lending book in London. He created and was Director of two new FSA regulated companies for American parent companies KDC (UK) Ltd and Wedbush Europe Limited
JOHN
BRIMMER
Director
Mr Brimmer has over 25 years of experience in financial markets, primarily focussing on equity finance and equity derivatives. After starting his career as an options market maker on LIFFE he progressed to Barclays to work on the European equity finance/Delta 1 desk. After this he performed similar roles at Investec Bank UK Ltd and Santander Global Banking and Markets in London.
With his trading background in both financing and derivatives he is ideally placed to structure deals optimally for all customers.
